Our bespoke sessions are fun and relaxed to ensure that you, your family and pet(s) enjoy your time during your photography session.
Based in Stockport, Joanne regularly travel in the Cheshire, Lancashire and Greater Manchester area to photograph our client's pets.
We can photograph your cats in your home so that they feel sage and secure or we can travel to photograph your dog(s) in a scenic location.
The sky is the limit: the beach, your favourite park, a city, your home, etc..
Joanne will create a range of images during your portrait session. From individual images of your cat(s) or dog(s) (or other pets) to images with the whole family to create lovely portraits to proudly display on your walls
Cat Portraiture
Cats are notoriously home creatures as they don't often travel outside their home and local area (unless going to the vet!).
If your cat is super confident and outgoing, I would suggest that they may be able to come to my studio but otherwise..it's much better if I travel to your home.
We can do some portraits in your home and garden (if your cat is an outdoor cat). I would bring minimal lightning equipment when working with cats.
Dog Portraiture
Outdoor pet portraits are very popular. It can be for one dog or multiple dogs. It's also nice when the owners/family wants to be part of it too. Outdoor sessions are a lot of fun and it's perfect for dogs that may by too nervous to be in the studio.
Dont worry if your dog(s) need to stay on the lead, we will remove the lead in our post processing process.

Your questions
Yes of course. Our sessions are more your pets, however we can definately include your familly or just the children for a few portraits.
Usually up to three dogs are included in the price. Please enquire if you would like to have more pets.
A day or two before your session, Joanne will look at the weather forecast and decide if your session can go ahead. Usually intermittent light rain is fine hovewer in case of heavy rain we will reschedule your session. There is not extra fee to pay if Joanne decided to postpone your session because of the weather.
If there is another lockdown we will simply reschedule the session on another date. So there is nothing to worry about.
More Questions
While it would be useful for your dog to have a basic sit/stay, I have worked with many dogs of different level of abilities in the past years. We will work together to ensure that your dog is not stressed and we will take our time to create the best images possible.
In short no as it's not the type of service that we provide. What we do is much more exciting as you will see your images on a huge TV along with a coffee and some snacks. Joanne will be able to help you select the best images from your session and give you some ideas on how to display them on your walls, so it's not something that can be done with an online gallery. Joanne loves to see your reaction when you see your images..she says it's the best part of her job!
We do not believe in hard selling and we want you to be comfortable with your choice and with the products that you are interested in purchasing so there is no pressure at all. All Joanne will do with you is to go through the different ways she presents her work and give you some ideas on how to display them. From that you will be able to decide what is the best option for you. Don't forget we also offer payment plans if it's something that you would be insterested in.
