On the weekend of the 8th & 9th of August I was asked if I could cover a horse show in Bakewell.
It’s not something that I would normally do but as I had the weekend free I decided that it could be interesting and a little bit different.
So I set off on the Saturday morning to Bakewell for the Hackney horse club show.
It was very interesting and quite different than other shows I have been to.
The first day I ended up with over 200 images and on the second with over 300 images…takes a long time to process !
We were lucky as we had two very sunny days (maybe a little bit too hot for the horses) , I was not expecting that and ended up with a sunburned neck.
Unlike many event photographers, I like to edit all the images before uploading them onto the online gallery.
