An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a part time (22.5 hours/week to start with) retoucher, at our photography studio based in Marple, Stockport, Cheshire.
Salary: From £9.50 - £11.50/hour (depending on experience) + yearly bonus.
Easily commutable from High Peak, Disley, Offerton, Romiley and Stockport.
Job type: Part-time, 22.5 hours/week (+ extra hours when required).
Hours: Monday, Wednesday and Saturdays (10:00 – 18:00)
- Training days might be on different days/hours.
The role
We are looking for an outgoing, passionate and enthusiastic person to be our image retoucher. The aim is to give the customer an exceptional, fun am memorable experience with their pet(s). We will deliver an outstanding customer service for start to finish with high-quality photography and products.
Opportunity to progress to full time (3 days editing/2 days photography sessions including Sundays)
Who we are looking for:
- An outgoing and approachable person, you will be driven and self motivated to meet your editing targets. You will also be honest and reliable whilst being flexible and willing to go that extra mile.
- Editing: Able to edit one photography session in under two hours (on average 30 images per session) to a high standard/matching our 'look'.
- Proficient with Lightroom and Photoshop.
- Able to post on Social media (posts on Facebook/instagram)
- Able to work on your own without supervision.
- Other studio tasks when needed: Dealing with collections, answering calls, helping during photography sessions etc.

Studio editing experience is highly desirable, we can provide training for the right person. We will ask to see examples of your work (editing skills). (To progress to work as a photographer on Sundays you will need photography studio experience.)
